The mark of my weekend actually started on a Friday, a weekday. This is the day when I finally visited Taft after a very long time. Thanks to our scheduled consultation with our thesis mentor. It was actually quite a productive day, thesis wise. Hopefully, we could already move further with it and get everything done at least half way. *Fingers are crossed
I must say, going to school really did cheer me up. It was very nice to see familiar faces again. Not to mention, the AWWW moment I had seeing the places that my friends and I usually go to just to hang out. See, I haven't even graduated yet. What more if I already did? I bet I will be overjoyed just by the thought of going to DLSU once again.
Hey, I love my school. And yes, okay, I am shallow.
You have no idea how happy I am being able to see and hang out with some of the people that I really missed so much in school. It really feels good to be back at that one place where everything started and meet at that very place again after months of not seeing each other. And this is what I felt when I bonded with my good friend, Iris. Though it wasn't exactly a long bonding experience, it was still good to know how well she's doing.
*We weren't able to take pictures together that day so I'm just going to post old photos of us.

The collage Iris made! :) |
Iris is one of those friends I have that I get to speak nonsense fluently. Believe it or not, she still manages to understand me. Apparently, that's how we roll. *WINK

I can't believe I'm saying this but I really miss all the bullying and the innate bitch-iness in her that always make me feel defenseless. I miss how she bullies me at a certain point that never fails to make me run out of witty words to say just to throw her out of the argument. I know, its weird. But it is a part of the strong foundation of our friendship and it makes it more interesting than it is as well.

Our COMMTEC days |
I'm so thankful to see and bond with her again after a very long time. She already have a newly cut bangs for crying out loud. Not that its a big deal but it just shows how much we see less of each other. I missed Iris!
What even made my day more awesome is that I got to bond with Bianca as well. She did the math on the hours we spent together at Starbucks Taft. According to her calculations, we spent 4 hours and 30 minutes together. Believe me, it isn't enough. In fact, we were so full of stories to tell that we both had a headache for speaking too much. EPIC.
I love catch-ups, especially with people to whom I am very close with. And by far, catching up with Bianca is starting to climb off the charts in my favorite catch up moments list. She was just too giddy in sharing her "love life" with me from grade school to college that I was infected by her giddy-ness as well. This caused the excessive talking, BTW.
It was too much fun. And I am definitely wishing that we could do this all over again. This way, I can have my name written on her precious planner, not only because its my birthday on the 8th of October. COUGH* COUGH*
After Taft, I went to Fiamma for Kat's bad-ass-bitch-chic birthday party. It was so nice to see the gang again after a long time. It was so much fun. Definitely, one hell of a night.
In a nutshell, I had a jam-packed Friday full of catch-ups. And its just a start. I haven't even told you how my weekend went.
I went home from Fiamma around 2 in the morning knowing that I have to be ready around 4 am to go to La Union to visit my Tita along with my family. So technically, I'm dead. I'm a zombie. I haven't even prepared my clothes for our overnight stay yet which leaves me no choice but to stay up and fight my drowsiness. I tried sleeping during the long trip but apparently the headache did not let me. So, I just had my Temper Trap playlist on which made everything a-okay.

The long drive made my butt ache big time. And I really thank God for stop overs. Going to La Union is really no joke. But the moment we step foot at our Tita's resort, it made all of my exhaustion go away. There's really something about me and beaches.

Being in the beach again motivated me even more to fulfill my beach front property dream. Wouldn't it be nice to wake up one morning and see the peaceful view of the beach? Oh, I definitely want that. But of course, minus the possible tsunami instances that could actually sweep my beach front property at an instant and could kill me as well.
But what the hell, I still love the beach!
The morning after our beach fun, we went to Mickey D's for breakfast. We sure had our HOORAY FOR TODAY moment while eating our pancakes and drinking our hot chocolate and coffee.

Next stop, Baguio! It was another long ride for us. Oh poor butt!
We went to SM Baguio for lunch and also to have my hair cut by some hairdresser that my mom knew and recommended. My hair turned out to be okay and I was satisfied. For the very first time, I was happy with how my hair looks like. Oh joy!

My hair was long then. |
I can't believe I survived this whole weekend. I lack a great amount of sleep but it was all worth it. I went home from Baguio around 2 in the morning and I have to go to work early in the morning the next day. Again,
I'M DEAD. But hey, like I said, I'm a super woman in disguise. So see, I managed. I'm alive but with scary eye bags.
Yes, everything's back to normal again. I better turn off the super woman in me and switch back to my alter ego, Kim. HALLELUJAH!
